| I am a self taught artist who currently resides in the Midwest, USA. At an early age, I learned to appreciate art because of my admirable grandfather( A Fine Artist) whose philosophy of 'LEARN, TRY, AND DO' motivated me to learn more, try harder and do more. Later in life, my excelled artistic brother continued to motivate me to 'lunge head first' into the art world. Encouraged by my supportive husband, I am now pledging more of my time and energy to artistic endeavors. My specialty is portraits( pencil and charcoal), but I also enjoy dabbling in many different art mediums. Currently I am working with pastels, watercolor, and acrylic paints.
